  • Registration on Devasthanam portal is mandatory for all four dhams before departure.
  • Carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport) for all pilgrims at all times.
  • Medical fitness certificate recommended for seniors above 60 years of age.
  • Best season is May–June and September–October; July–August has heavy rainfall.
  • Carry warm woolens regardless of season — temperatures can drop significantly at night.
  • Helicopter services for Kedarnath get fully booked — book at least 2 months in advance.
  • Mobile network is limited beyond Gaurikund for Kedarnath and Joshimath for Badrinath.
