Why Kafall Exists
Most travel agencies sell Uttarakhand from an office in a city they've never trekked out of. Kafall Travels started the opposite way — from inside the mountains, with a founder who grew up walking these very trails.
The name "Kafall" comes from a wild Himalayan berry found along the trek routes of Garhwal and Kumaon — small, seasonal, and easy to miss unless you know exactly where to look. That's the promise we build every itinerary around: the hidden meadow, the honest homestay, the guide who knows the mountain by feel, not by a printed brochure.
What began as friends helping friends plan trips to Chopta, Kedarnath and the Kumaon valleys has grown into a full-fledged local travel company — still run the same way, with a phone call away and no call-centre in between.
